Raul Roa has been a photojournalist for 21 years in Southern California. He is staff at the Times Community News and he covers Burbank, Glendale and La Cañada. Roa's hobbies include bird photography and nature/landscape along with astrophotography. Roa and world famous Nick Ut go out and photograph planes crossing the moon a few times a month, sometimes in daylight and always during the full moon.
