你是单纯来SLC玩的? 需要更多信息啊。
SLC没啥好玩的， 能看看的就是temple square。
风景的话， 去去great salt lake， I80，104出口。或者是Antelope Island， 比1-4出口那个更大些。但还是没啥好看的。
来盐湖城的都是把这里做中转站， 去黄石， 去arches等几个国家公园的。

Well, I will be joining a highschool class reunion on a trip to Yellowstone via a Chinese tour company. At the end, they will all be leaving the trip from SaltLake city.
Some of my friends will be flying from SLC to Phoenix and they will rent a car to go on to Grand Canyon and Petrified Forest for the next 4 days. As for me, I have only 3 days. Originally, I was planning to join them 6/19 and fly from SLC to Phoenix and then leave the group earlier on 6/21... but now, I think it's a little inconvenient and costly (fly tickets from SLC to Phoenix)
Instead of flying back to LA from SLC, I am thinking to go on my own with my family for 3 days before my kid's summer school starts. That is all about the background info. Like you have said, SLC is just a logistic point which is closed most National parks in the area.
From SLC, I have two plans and hope that you could advise me on that.
(1) Rent a one way car and drive from SLC all the way to Phoenix and fly back home. This way, I can drive through the few national parks on the road (Zyon, Bryce....?? and Pace: Antelope/Horseshoe). I have checked with Avis and the one way rental car from SLC to Phoenix for 3 days is $450 (very expensive but it's very hard to find this kind of 1-way rental).
(2) Rent a car to drive to wherever the scenic points are and then drive back to SLC airport. The problem with this plan is that I cannot drive too far as I have to plan for a return trip to SLC and most national parks (except Yellowstone) is further south of SLC.
