Great Rt.1 pix from the other photographer! Like #3 and 4.
We happened to drive through CA Rt.1 from Monterey to Santa Monica last week. Initially we planned to tour Monterey for 2 days but the weather didn't cooperate. While there were still a lot of things to be done in SoCal, we decided to head home. The weather of the day started foggy, as usual then shared with alternating foggy and sunny. We stopped by quite a few spots, State parks and beaches. The drive did last almost 12 hours. Very nice, indeed.
I usually take a small basic jpeg along with RAW recording. Since my CS3 (?!) doesn't recognize D700 RAW files (I usually use lightroom to do initial editing anyway, but it has acted up today), I would like to post some small jpeg pix. Some of the pix were untouched except sizing, while others were done with minor editing such as contrast and auto-level, without color adjustment. I enjoyed the ride and beautiful colors along the coast of California. Resolution of the pix may not be great. Sorry for that.
