Hello,

One of the subject that is frequently discussed lately is the abstract level of photography that could trigger people imagination and dream. LaoPiaoPiao and Frank are definitely the pioneers in this field.

Sounds great? That might be easy for some others, but for me, that is damn hard to do. As I encountered this photo while revisiting my old photo stock, I decided to give it a try.

I tried and messed around with the photo (using distort, perspective change, blur, and color desaturation... ) Oh, please do not throw your shoes at me if you don't like it. Instead, I would love to hear your comments/critques.

Thanks for the encouragement.
I tried to distort the background (downtown LA building) into some weird and ruined buildings (by copying, rotating, and distorting the shape and perspective) to dramatize the environment behind them. Looking at that again, I think I've failed to spread that into the foreground (the couple). I need to find a way to do that...

Kenny, I think there is a discontinuation between the distortion in the background and the foreground (mainly the space/wall between them). May be some warping effect in this area would be nice. I don't like to distort or touch the people as this will turn them into outer space people (haha).
